FixBee Disk Optimizer is a simple PC speedup tool which includes both drive cleanup and defrag features.
The program also includes a browser toolbar which it'll install by default, though. If that's a problem for you then be sure to choose the Custom Installation option and during setup and clear the relevant boxes.
With that out of the way, you can get on with the process of defragging your hard drive. This works much as you'd expect: it analyses your drive, reports on the degree of file fragmentation, and tells you whether a defrag is necessary. And if it is, then a click on the Optimize button will make this happen.
And the "System Cleanup" option is equally familiar, scanning your hard drive for redundant files, listing anything it finds and then deleting them all with a click.
This is all very easy to use, then. The program looks good, too. And both the defrag and cleanup modules have flexible schedulers, so it's straightforward to have them run unattended.
Unfortunately FixBee is also very basic. The defrag module offers no real controls over what it's doing, and the cleanup tool found very few files to delete on our test system. Perhaps this will improve in future versions, but right now you're better off with other PC maintenance tools.
