Backing up data is a necessary evil as a computer owner, and anything that makes the process a little easier is to be welcomed. The free version of Fab's AutoBackup 3 has been designed with precisely this aim in mind, making as easy as possible to backup files and settings and providing the option to restore them either from within Windows or using a bootable disc.
Like the free version of the program, the software can be used to create backups of key system folders such as My Documents and My Pictures, as well a backing up settings that have been put in place for Windows and a number of third party programs. This paid for edition of the software also allows for user defined files and folders to be included in a backup set making it far more customisable and versatile.
Using the program is a simple matter of ticking boxes to indicate precisely what should be backed up, so there is little scope for error. Backing up data is rarely an enjoyable process, but Fab's AutoBackup makes it as painless as possible and is available at and incredibly low price.
