As a web browser, the iOS version of Safari could be described as functional at best. While the desktop version of the application is flexible, versatile and customisable, iPhone an iPad users have been left with a very watered down version of the browser. Cyberspace is an alternative browser which includes some of the features that many iOS users feel should have been included in Safari.
If you are surfing the web and want to jot down some ideas, a scratchpad is right at your fingertips to enable you to do so. This can be used to paste information you have copied from a web site, or to store your own notes.
One of the problems with surfing the web on a mobile device rears its head when you are conducting online research. It is easy to quickly amass a huge list of link you need to visit; in Cyberspace you can add links to a queue so they are not only stored safely, but available in a handy list you can access whenever you are ready.
It is likely that you have URLs stored in a number of other apps - from emails and notes to calendar entries. Copy a link to the clipboard and the next time you launch Cyberspace you will be invited to either open the site or add it to a queue to view later - handy if you have a number of sites you need to work your way through.
There is also built in support for a huge number of third party tools - Instapaper, ReadItLater, Twitter Facebook and many more. This means that it is very easy to share interesting web sites you find with others.
Verdict:
Cyberspace is not completely revolutionary, but it is a vast improvement on Safari which is well worth the money
