GhostMouse is a simple tool for recording sequences of mouse clicks and keystrokes on a Windows PC, and replaying them later, so enabling you to automate various tasks.
The core interface is very basic. Click the Record button or press the hotkey, and GhostMouse will record all your subsequent keystrokes, mouse clicks and movements; click the Stop button to stop recording; and then you can play the script as a test, saving it if you're happy.
If this isn't enough, though, GhostMouse also includes a few settings which might help. So you can define exactly what you want to record, for instance (maybe just the keyboard, say, ignoring the mouse entirely). And you're able to customise the hotkeys, change the playback speed, have the program launch when Windows starts, and more.
The program is really still very limited. You can't customise your scripts or do much with them at all. But if your needs are simple and you just need a timed replay of keypresses, say, give GhostMouse a look: it just might be enough.
Verdict:
GhostMouse is too basic to be really useful, but it is at least very easy in operation, and may be sufficient for simple PC automation requirements
