Convertilla is a straightforward tool which makes it simple to convert video and audio files between multiple formats.
The program can import several common file types: MP4, FLV, MKV, MPG, AVI, WMV, MOV, WEBM, MP3, FLAC, WAV, WAV, OPUS, AAC and more.
And your video can then be exported in any of those formats, as well as 3GP or MP3 (if you only need the soundtrack). Or you can choose a particular device profile - Android, iPod, Blackberry, Sony PSP and PS3, Microsoft XBOX 360 and Zune, Nokia N-series and others - and Convertilla will automatically select an output format suitable for your hardware.
The program is mostly about simplicity, so what you won't get here is much in the way of configurability. There's no talk of bit rates, video or audio codecs, for instance: you can set the resolution to one of a few presets, or choose video quality via a slider, but that's about it.
Our one problem with the program is that the installer leaves some options in Russian, even if you're installing in English. Which did make us wonder exactly what it wanted us to accept. We just cleared those options, though, and everything worked just fine, so we'd recommend you do the same.
