When a program or process crashes, it can cause a series of problems with your computer, and often the best thing to do is to simply terminate the troublesome application and relaunch. But if a program has crash, it will often not respond to requests to close it down completely, and this when you may have to consider forcing a termination.
Ordinarily, you would turn to Windows’ built in Task Manager to achieve this, but sometimes this can take too long. Launching the Task Manager can be fiddly and there is no guarantee that the dialog will open up with the correct tab activated. This is where Task ForceQuit Pro, proving you with a simple list of running programs along with the option to terminate any of them.
The list is very clear and easy to read, so there should never be any confusion about which programs you are working with and as there is only the option of clicking the Force Quit button for each app, there is no room for error.
The program also provides easy access to the option to restart Explorer as well as Windows itself. Task ForceQuit Pro is something of a basic tool, but it is one that could just come in handy from time to time. There is also a system tray icon which can be used to access running programs even more quickly, and this provide you with the option of either stopping or restarting programs.
Verdict:
A simple alternative to Task Manager that gets the job done.
