As you are likely to carry your iPhone around with you most of the time, it is likely that you use it for photography. While much of this may be photographs of landmarks and people, there must have been times when you've taken a picture to serve as a reminder. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but sometimes it's just not enough, and this is where Skitch can help.
This iOS app could be viewed as either a useful aid for adding handwritten notes and sketches to a photograph, or a fun way of being able to doodle over pictures you have taken. As you would expect, it is possible to then share the images you have created on the likes of Facebook and Twitter.
Regarded as a fun tool, Skitch is great. You have the option of writing or drawing freehand on your photos, or you can type to ensure that text is more legible. Whether you want to add a note to a photograph so you remember where it is, or add the name of a person you snapped an image of, there are countless uses for it.
But Skitch can also be put to more serious uses as it can be used to draw maps and annotate documents and objects you have photographed. As Skitch was recently bought by Evernote, it should come as no surprise that the app includes the option to upload your edited images to Evernote.
Verdict:
A great tool whether used for fun or something more serious, Skitch helps you to make the most of your camera.
