Microsoft’s Windows Live Mesh Service has been designed to make it easy to synchronise files between the two or more computer that many of us find ourselves working with these days. Windows Live Mesh for Mac has just been released, making it possible to synchronise files between Macs and PCs with ease.
Many people find that they are now not only working with more than one computer – such as at home and at work – but also that they are using different platforms. If you find that you are using a Mac at home, but need to be able to access your personal files at work on a PC< this is precisely what Windows Live Mesh for Mac will enable you to do.
The application requires little configuration beyond signing into your personal account, leaving you free to work with your files without having to worry about which folders they are stored in, having to copy them to removable media for transferring between machines, or resorting to emailing copies of files to yourself.
In order to get started with the app, you’ll need to have a Windows Live ID which you can then use to access your files from multiple computers. Windows Live Mesh for Mac can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site.
